Dr. Bruce D. Perry is the Founder and Senior
Fellow of The Child Trauma Academy, a not-for-profit organization
based in Houston, Texas, working to improve the lives of high-risk
children through direct service, research and education. Dr. Perry
is the author several books and publications, the most famous of
which is 'The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog,' a NY Times bestselling
book based on his work with maltreated children. Dr. Perry believes
that there should be a stronger link between the faith community and
the child protection/child welfare/family strengthening communities.

Childhood Mental Health (CAECMH) in the College of Education and
Human Services at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ.

Nikol Alexander Floyd earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence
(JD) from the University of Texas, and her Ph.D. from
Virginia Tech University. She currently serves as an
Associate Professor at Rutgers University where specialty is
Women in Politics and Gender Studies. She has been a
congregational leader in various churches throughout the
South and is a faithful member of the Shiloh Baptist Church
of Trenton, NJ
